Safer reconciliation starts with a query of national databases to provide a list of medications the patient filled in retail pharmacies. For patients with a previous visit, we display medications that were active at discharge. When it is time to reconcile at discharge, we save your physicians time and effort with a merged medication list (reconciling inpatient and home medications).
HCS provides advanced AI enabled clinical decision support for pharmacists including automatic therapeutic substitution. Verification of orders is simple, effective, and includes clinical alerts to increase patient safety and maximize pharmacist time with interventions.
We help prioritize important tasks based on clinician roles with a dashboard showing actions for a specific clinician automatically. Standard actions are available in addition to configurable organization specific actions. Different actions display on the dashboard depending on the clinical role – nurses, therapists, pharmacists, and physicians.
When a patient needs a prescription sent to a retail pharmacy, either at discharge for an inpatient or during participation in an outpatient program, HCS has it covered for both non-controlled and controlled substance e-prescribing.
