Internships for Health Information Management
Announcing Internships for Health Information Management – Health Care Systems, Inc. (HCS) has partnered with Alabama State University to offer internships for Health Information Management! Accordingly, we could not be more excited to welcome Jalequilla Felder and Aaliyah Jordan as they begin their internships for Health Information Management with HCS this Spring! At HCS a big component of our success is a thriving corporate culture. Participating in the internship programs of institutes of higher learning enhance our delivery of optimal software solutions to support clinical, financial, operational, and compliance workflows in the behavioral health industry. Therefore, we are excited to see the fresh perspectives and insights of the interns as we guide them on their learning path in a successful Health Information Management career.
Assistant Professor Yolanda Hill, MSHI, RHIA, Academic Coordinator of Clinical Education within the Alabama State University’s Health Information Management program shared her enthusiasm for our partnership:
“We are beyond excited to partner with HCS to provide our Health Information Management (HIM) students with unique hands-on experience in electronic health records (EHR). HIM professionals play a vital role in ensuring patient information is accurate, secure, and properly managed, overseeing privacy, security, data integrity, and information governance. Through this partnership, HCS is giving our students the opportunity to explore how EHR systems are developed and maintained to support quality patient care. They will gain real-world exposure to the processes behind data management, system security, and workflow optimization, critical skills for the future of healthcare. This collaboration bridges the gap between classroom learning and real-world application, helping shape the next generation of HIM leaders.”
Follow along with us as we share how Jalequilla and Aaliyah’s internships for health information management allow them to gain firsthand experience in electronic health records and shaping the future of healthcare.
